Why was HelpersMarket developed?

The goal of the site was to allow any individual, corporation, service or other the opportunity of using the community of the web as defacto sales agents. Think of the power that our community will create when people help to CONNECT other people and companies, and at the same time get compensated for doing so.

Additionally, the site also encourages the postings by local and national businesses and services which include significant value for our community; Such may include, gift with purchases, rebates, free trials, substantial discounts or other value.

What can be included in the postings?

Text, pictures, videos, coupons, "not for profit" info, etc. can be included.

How do I attach a picture?

Click on the "Upload Photos" button found on the left-hand side of the page when creating or modifying a post. Click on the "Browse" button to search for the file in your computer, and hit "Submit" or "Upload" to attach it with your post. (The first three picture you attach are free.)

How do I incorporate videos into the posting?

Currently, only videos stored on YouTube.com can be embedded into your post. Simply copy and paste the video page on YouTube.

Who can use HelpersMarket?

Think of HelpersMarket as the ultimate online listings service which combines Listings with Social Networking - connecting individuals and businesses with Helpers (those that want to help you) with the transaction (or cause). NOTE: It is strongly encouraged to include a Helpers component, but it is not required.

How does HelpersMarket differ from existing sites on the web?

HelpersMarket was developed to allow anyone the opportunity to be part of the selling, buying or helping process. Unlike traditional sites where there is only a buyer and seller, HelpersMarket brings in another dimension. Think of these people as your personal sales agents located throughout the world…and best of all you only pay Helpers if they are successful in achieving your stated goal. You set the commission rate and the requirements to achieve the commission - then Helpers throughout the world will review the postings and begin their journey to achieve your desired results…and at the same time make a commission…..it is a win win proposition.

Do all listings on the site need to have a referral fee component?

No. It is strongly encouraged for those "individual" listings, but not mandatory.

Can you give some examples of referral fees or discounts that may exist in various postings on HelpersMarket?

See existing listings on the site that have an "EARN" or "SAVE" component.

Is there a minimum age requirement on HelpersMarket?

HelpersMarket acknowledges that local. state and federal laws govern various relationships and transactions that may occur within the HelpersMarket Network. As such, please review such laws prior to posting, helping or buying within the site. Additionally, we require that you be at least 18 years old to register on HelpersMarket, as this is the minimum age that allows you to form legally binding contracts under applicable law. If you are under 18 and you desire to use HelpersMarket, then such use must be under the supervision of your parent(s) or guardians.

To become a HELPER for our LOCAL section, you must review the laws of both the Federal Government and your State. Many States allow you to participate at age 14, while others require that you are 16; In a small number of States, you must be 18. Please see CHILD LABOR LAWS so that you are in compliance.

What are the main sections of HelpersMarket?

HelpersMarket is comprised of listings from individuals and businesses. Further, many listings may have "EARN", "SAVE", "REFER A FRIEND", portions of proceeds going to Charity/Non-Profit, etc.... Filters exist which allow you to see all listings, or only those that meet your interests

What is the fee to list on HelpersMarket?

Listing is free for both individuals and businesses. However, there are charges for upgrades. See our pricing chart to learn more.

Can you explain the A-la Carte upgrades?

See pricing chart and mouse over each. There will be additional explanation of each item.

Can you explain the 2 monthly packages?

The packages are designed to give you upgraded elements to your listings as well as greater reach (more metros/and Categories as well as priority placement within the HelpersMarket Network.

How do I pay for updgrades?

You need to use a major credit card. The initial monthly fee will be charged immediately, and will continue every 31st day until you de-activate the listing. We will be forwarding a monthly email on the 31st or 32nd day providing you a receipt for that month.

How do I post?

Go to the homepage, and then fill-in the form under the QUICK POST boox on top right.

How does HelpersMarket guarantee the accuracy of the posting, including the featured offers/coupons?

A HelpersMarket is acting as a platform for the listings - and in no way can represent or warrant the accuracy of the listing. The community of HelpersMarket can FLAG THE POST (if a problem does exist). Thus, the community can help in review the accuracy of the listings.

Can I post on HelpersMarket without giving a commission to Helpers?

Yes. HelpersMarket gives you the option of allowing Helpers to be involved, but it is not an obligation on your part.

Who are the Helpers?

In general, think of Helpers as your extended sales agents…They can exist of the community at large. Helpers can be anyone….from someone who has extensive contacts and relationships, to those that have few. In general, they are ordinary people who believe that they can help you fulfill your stated goals. Most likely, Helpers will seek out their friends, family, work associates, community contacts, etc. to help accomplish their task.

Why do Helpers want to be involved?

Helpers want to help with your listing as they can earn commission if they are successful.

Who sets the requirements for success (for Helpers)?

Those that Post/list, must set these requirements. HelpersMarket has nothing to do with these arrangements, and it encourages all parties to have additional communications with each other, so there are no misunderstandings.

How do Helpers get paid?

Helpers will get paid directly from those that they are trying to help. All particulars should be discussed prior to the Helpers involvement. HelpersMarket is not part of the transaction and will not warrant and represent the accuracy, validity and/or reliability of the offer nor the parties involved. In essence, all parties go forward at their own risk, and acknowledge that HelpersMarket is not a party to any transaction. HelpersMarket has supplied a listing of sevices that you may want to review to help you with contractual issues as well as payment (see "SUGGESTED TOOLS FOR PAYING OR RECEIVING MONEY" on the listing page. Please be advised that your use of these tools are at your own discretion and risk - HelpersMarket is not a party to the transaction so will take no responsibility of any and all relationships/dealings that you make.

Why do I need Helpers?

In some cases, you may not. In other cases, it will help extend your offer exponentially.

Can I post on HelpersMarket as well as other sites?

Yes, there is no requirement that HelpersMarket is exclusive listing.

What postings will exist on HelpersMarket?

Goods, services, jobs, housing, tickets, items desired, etc. It will eventually become a marketplace for anything that can be bought, sold, rented, hired, etc.

How did HelpersMarket begin?

It was started by a small group of dedicated and seasoned internet types that are dedicated to the concept of collaborative and crowd sourcing e-commerce platforms.

Are there territorial restrictions to the site?

HelpersMarket doesn't get involved in the individual posting, so any restrictions that exist will be up to those that post the listing, as well as any laws of local, state or federal government of the United States and/or other territories affected by the listing. It is up to the poster, helper and/or buyer to determine the legality of their involvement.

Is there a minimum age that exist for Helpers?

HelpersMarket is not part of the transaction and as such can not answer this question. It is up to the Poster to determine age requirements and/or limitations (if any). See additional info on age requirements (above).

What is the role of HelpersMarket?

HelpersMarket, its employees and agents have created a marketplace for goods and services to be sold, rented, hired, etc….We are not in anyway representing or give any assurance to the accuracy or validity of the offer — it is entirely up to all parties to ascertain this on their own and make all decisions concerning all activity on the site. Our role is to provide the infrastructure so that these communications can exist.

How do I get preferred listing on the site?

If you desire to have premium placement, it is available in the Ala Carte upgrade or it is included in the NATIONWIDE package. See our pricing chart to learn more.

Where is HelpersMarket located?

Majority of the staff is located in California and New Jersey.

How long does the post stay up for?

For those listings that have an Ala Carte upgrade or a monthly package, the listing will continue until the poster de-activates the listing. For those listings that in the business section, they will continue until they are de-activated. For those listings that are in the Individual section (and haven't opted for upgrade of ala carte nor monthly package), they will be live for 60 days.

How do I edit a post?

You must be logged in with your HelpersMarket account. Once logged in, click on "Manage My Account."
